Use the Correct Engine Oil
Always use Low SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus, and Sulphur) engine oil specifically designed for vehicles with DPFs. Standard oils produce higher levels of ash when burned, which permanently clogs the filter core.
Don’t Ignore Warning Lights
If an amber DPF light pops up on your dashboard, it isn’t an immediate breakdown signal; it’s an early warning that the filter is getting full and needs a longer drive to clear.
